Jim Hosking started directing promos at MTV. His first short, Little Clumps of Hair, premiered on the BBC, and another short, Renegades, premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. In 2012, his short Crabs premiered at the London Short Film Festival, and he co-wrote and directed the comedy Privado for Warp Films. He contributed the "G Is for Grandad" segment in ABCs of Death 2 in 2014.
Jim's first feature film The Greasy Strangler premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016 before going on to delight and disgust audiences in equal measure at numerous international festivals throughout the year.
An Audience With Beverly Luff Linn will be Jim's second feature film.
