Ashim AHLUWALIA (1972, Mumbai, India) studied film at Bard College in New York. His documentary on the call centre industry, John & Jane (2005), received a National Film Award, India's most prestigious film prize. It was a big success at film festivals worldwide. In 2007 he was commissioned to work on a film & architecture installation for the 10th Venice Architecture Biennale. Miss Lovely (2012) his first fiction feature went on to premiere at Cannes to wide critical acclaim. His second feature Daddy (2017) is set to be launched this year.
